Using Scratch, a coding language developed at MIT, kids ages 9 through 13 can design their own virtual pet which moves and makes sounds or even create their own game. Please register in person at the Deltaville Branch or by calling 804-776-7362. A limited number of laptops are available for use in the library, or kids can bring their own laptop. Parents and guardians are asked to create a free Scratch account at https://scratch.mit.edu/prior to class.
