Kids ages 9 through 13 can design their own virtual pet which moves and makes sounds or even create their own game using Scratch, a coding language developed at MIT. Please register in person at the Deltaville Branch or by calling 804-776-7362. A limited number of laptops are available for use in the library, or kids can bring their own laptop. Parents and guardians are asked to create a free Scratch account at https://scratch.mit.edu/prior to class.
